Sneak Peek: Mini Deck & Guidebook Samples in Progress

We’ve just received a few videos and photos from the printer showing the sample Mini Decks and guidebooks! Everything is looking great so far.
The printer is now working on the Standard Deck samples and the boxes. They’ve told us these should be finished by the end of this week. If all goes according to plan, our production designer should have the decks in-hand next week to review and approve.
Once we have those in, we’ll be able to share better videos with you soon—so stay tuned!

Hundred-Acre Arcana Update – Right on Schedule!

Hello everyone!
We wanted to give you a quick peek behind the scenes and let you know — we’re right where we hoped to be according to our schedule. Everything is moving along exactly as planned, and we have some exciting things to share.
Production Update
The sample prints for the Hundred-Acre Arcana and Mystic Honeypot Arcana — in both Standard and Mini Deck versions — are complete! The tin boxes for the Mini Decks are now in production, and the printer expects to ship all samples to our production designer by the end of next week.
Once we have them in hand, we’ll either approve everything for full production or request any final adjustments. We expect to have sample photos to share with you in the next week or two.
BackerKit Survey
We’re working closely with BackerKit to set up the survey, which is planned to go out around the end of August as we get close to starting full production. BackerKit has been amazing in helping us organize all the moving parts for this project.
New Add-On Bundle
We’ve been putting together something special for backers who want a little extra magic with their decks. The add-on bundle will include:
Two unique pouches
A keychain
A lenticular (3D) special card
When we didn’t reach the pouches stretch goal, the decks felt a little “naked” without them — so we decided to make them available in this bundle.
We’re also exploring adding a tote bag to the lineup.

Just a quick update to let you know we’re finalizing the files for Hundred-Acre Arcana this week and turning them in for print samples. Everything’s on track, and we’ll have more to share with you soon! 🐻🍯
This follow-up adds new Major Arcana cards featuring Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow, who entered the public domain in 2025. It also includes the final remaining copies of the original Steamboat Arcana 1928 deck—a project that helped inspire everything that came after.
We’re extremely proud of how these decks turned out, and we’d love for you to check it out if you haven’t already.

Launching July 22nd: ✨⚓ Steamboat Arcana 1929 Tarot – Expansion Pack ⚓ ✨

While we’re busy preparing everything for print on Hundred-Acre Arcana (we’re finalizing files now!), we wanted to take a moment to share something special launching soon—especially if you missed our first decks: Steamboat Arcana 1928 and The Gaucho's Arcana 1928.
✨ What Is Steamboat Arcana?
Before Hundred-Acre Arcana, we created a tarot deck inspired by the early days of animation—black-and-white cartoons, dancing skeletons, spooky villains, and rubber hose-style charm. That deck is called Steamboat Arcana 1928, and it was released in celebration of the year Mickey Mouse entered the public domain (January 1, 2024).
We’re extremely proud of how those decks turned out. They helped launch everything that came after—including the Hundred-Acre Arcana you’re now a part of.
🎬 What’s the New Campaign?
When we first created the 1928 decks, we had planned to include characters like Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. But since they weren’t in the public domain yet, we removed them before printing. Now that it’s 2025, we’re keeping our word and releasing a follow-up pack of new Major Arcana cards featuring these characters.
We’re now returning to that world with a follow-up campaign: the Steamboat Arcana 1929 Expansion Pack. This includes a small set of new Major Arcana cards featuring characters who entered the public domain in 2025, such as Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow—figures we originally planned to include in the first deck.
This new campaign is also a chance for collectors to pick up:
The 1929 Expansion Pack (for the Standard Decks)
Remaining inventory of the Steamboat Arcana 1928 and Gaucho’s Arcana decks (standard size only)
A Mini Deck version of the Expansion Pack—offered as a stretch goal if we unlock it

Gearing Up for Production!

Mark here with a quick update 🌿
We’ve officially been paid by Kickstarter—thank you again for making this campaign such a success! We’re moving forward with a printer based in China and are currently preparing all the files to send over. Our goal is to get everything to them within the next two weeks.
Once they receive the files, they’ll create and send us digital samples. As long as everything looks good, we’ll give the green light to start production.
This is just a short update, but I always want to keep you in the loop. More soon!
