To keep everything on track, we’ll be locking orders and charging cards soon for BackerKit add-on items:
Orders lock on Thursday, October 3rd
Cards will be charged on Tuesday, October 8th

Our printer has confirmed that deck printing should be completed by the end of October. They will also be pre-boxing orders at the factory, which will help speed up fulfillment once production wraps up.

🌍 Extra Shipping Credit for Some Early International Backers
When the campaign first launched, one of the early international reward tiers was set up with an additional $15 in shipping.
If you were part of that group, there were about 41 Backers, BackerKit has automatically added a $15 credit to your survey. You can use it toward any add-on item of your choice.
Alternatively, if you’d prefer, you can select a Steamboat Arcana mini-deck (without the tin box) or a Gaucho’s Arcana mini-deck instead (without the tin box). If you’d like this option, please leave us a note in the “Reminder / Notes” section of your survey so we can make sure it’s added to your order.

Quick Update on BackerKit Surveys

Hi everyone,
We originally hoped to have the BackerKit surveys go out on Sunday, September 2nd, but it’s taken a little longer than expected. The good news is that we’ve now submitted everything to BackerKit, and we should hear back from them Monday or Tuesday.
Once they review, they’ll run what’s called a “smoke test.” This means BackerKit will send the survey to about 5% of backers first. It’s a way to make sure everything is working correctly before the survey is sent to everyone. If any small issues come up, we’ll fix them right away.
After the smoke test is complete and everything looks good, the full Hundred-Acre Arcana survey will be sent out to all backers. My estimate is that this will happen sometime next week.

🌿 Hundred-Acre Arcana Update: Smooth Sailing Ahead

Hi everyone,
We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news about the progress of The Hundred-Acre Arcana and The Mystic Honey Pot Arcana!
✨ Printer Samples Have Arrived
We just received the printer samples—and they look absolutely beautiful. They really capture the magic we were hoping for, and our production designer has already reviewed them and sent feedback. A few small notes are being finalized for the mini-decks, and approvals should be wrapped up this week or next.

🚀 Ahead of Schedule
Compared to our last print run, we’re way ahead of schedule. The first couple of months are usually spent going back and forth with the printer and artists, fine-tuning every little detail. That means a lot of proofing, a lot of changes, and countless emails asking ourselves: How can we make this even better?
With this project, things are moving much faster. We’re working with a new printer—one that’s a better fit for our needs—and communication has been excellent. What took us about seven months during Steamboat Arcana 1928 has taken only three months this time. Experience really does make a difference, and the process has been much smoother and far less stressful.
💰 Printing Invoice + Timeline
We’ve already paid the first half of the invoice to the printer, with the second half due at completion. Printing typically begins two weeks after the first payment, and our printer tells us the full process should take about a month. That means production is right around the corner!
📋 Backer Survey Coming Soon
We’ll be sending out the BackerKit survey on Tuesday, September 2nd. We like to launch surveys once printing begins—it keeps things organized and ensures fulfillment runs smoothly. Right now, we’re setting up all the SKU numbers in BackerKit, which makes packaging and shipping much easier down the line. The survey will also give you access to all the great add-ons, bundles, and extras we’ve been preparing.
🌍 Tariffs & Shipping
The U.S. tariffs on printed goods and tarot cards have been extended another 90 days. Our printer confirmed that the rate has held steady at about 10% since the trade war began. We’re still finalizing whether to use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) or FOB (Freight on Board), but either way, nothing has changed in a way that will slow us down.
Everything is looking awesome. Thank you all again for your support and excitement—we can’t wait to bring these beautiful decks to your table.
